Where to stay

We have a block of rooms at the Dallas / Plano Marriott at the Legacy Town Center with a special rate of $99. It has nice amenities, is reasonable, is centrally located and it’s across from the Legacy Town Center where there’s a lot to do.

It was suggested to us, by a very frugal and smart sister of ours, that a great way to save money is to purchase Marriott Bonus Coupons on eBay and use those for your stay.  Go to eBay.com and do a search for “Marriott Bonus Certificates” and you’ll find a bunch.   Looks like you can save a bundle of money going this route.

Transportation

Rental car is recommended.  There’s no shuttle bus from the airport to the Marriott.

Direction from Dallas/Fort Worth – DFW

• Hotel direction: 27 miles NE
• Driving Directions: Take North Airport exit to 635 East for 4 miles, then take the George Bush Tollway(North), 6 miles to the Dallas North Tollway(North), then 3 miles and take the Legacy exit, turn right on Legacy, proceed 1/2 mile, turn right on Bishop, hotel is 3 blocks on the right.
